kennels & cottages

Well, they are clearly cottages not kennels, but they are in Kenilworth – in the heart of England – and I thought they were worth taking pictures of.

Of course, almost everywhere looks nicer with a blue sky, and the terrace in the next three photos must be one of the sunniest spots in the town.

Red roofs, white walls, blue sky: how very patriotic!

Not only are they bright and sunny, with a marvellous view of the castle, but they even have a proper red phone box and a real pillar box:

I can’t decide whether they are better fitted to a jigsaw puzzle or a chocolate box.
