I think you must mean the piece on foreignpolicy.com, which is not a site I hang out one, to be honest.
When he was still in post, I remember hearing about hopes to desasnar the country – which I naturally misheard as ‘desaznar’, and got quite excited. Alas, it’s pretty much still all a load of cobblers.
