I expect if I had been standing still, I could have framed the photo a little better, but it was taken through the window of a moving train so is a bit sketchy.
The train was one of the oldest and tattiest I’ve been on for years, and it wasn’t going that fast, so I don’t suppose I can really blame the transformation of the green Cotswolds countryside to such a brilliant yellow on the Doppler effect caused by the speed I was travelling at.
Looks very much like oilseed – or canola as the Americans call it – as they can’t deal with it’s surname.

Yep. That’s why the image has rapeseed and canola in its title. But I thought a Doppler effect pun was in better taste than one about the rape of the English countryside.

There are, sadly, so few comments that I didn’t think anyone cared much about them. Still, there are clearly like buttons showing for some users – I see the occasional notifications – so I’ve now re-jigged so they should show for everyone.
